Dr. Arleen Rose Bump is Senior Minister at the Center for Spiritual Living Fort Lauderdale and has served in that position since December of 1994.

She was first licensed as a Religious Science International Minister (now known asInternational Centers for Spiritual Living) in 1974 and was Ordained in 1976. She received her First Practitioner License in 1969. She has also served churches in Monterey, El Cajon, Glendale, California and Calgary, Alberta Canada before moving permanently to Fort Lauderdale in 1994.

She is a member of the ICSL Department of Education and Professionalism and has served in that Department in a variety of positions for the past 20 years. She was an elected member of the International Centers for Spiritual Living Board of Directors for 18 years and served as the ICSL President from October 1994 to July 1997. Dr. Arleen is a teacher extraordinaire and, through her loving care, continues to draw hundreds of people each Sunday who want to share in CSLFtL’s Celebration of Life. “If it’s not fun, I’m not interested” This credo is lived by Dr. Arleen.


Her sense of humor permeates her teaching – making some difficult, even painful lessons easier to hear while you’re laughing. Yes, she does “tell it like it is” – which produces laughter and tears as each one in her classes, counseling and on Sundays, knows that she has spoken “directly” to them.

Perhaps the one statement that best describes this passionate and dynamic lady, is her humanness. She lives the principles she speaks about – lovingly, personally, with humor, a sense of the sacred and with personal growth that touches everyone uniquely.

Dr. Arleen Rose Bump is a lady of power and passion – confident in her spiritual identity, comfortable in her body, and she knows who she is -- gloriously and joyously living from that attitude.
